BT claims that new product launches will make it easier for SMEs to manage their business.Last week, BT extended its scope with the launch of BT Workplace, as part of the Business Essentials package.
BT Workplace is an online sharing space which creates a virtual office. Users can share information and manager products and enjoy access to data and calendars.
A spokesman said: "This means an end to the endless string of emails choking up inboxes with countless responses to business issues and opportunities.
"And it will also call a halt to the nightmare of controlling different versions of documents as team members make additions and amendments.
"The end of poor project control and disjointed customer communication will help businesses avoid the loss of customers and revenue."
BT has also launched a new broadband package tailored for SMEs - Business Total Broadband.
For £19.99 a month, SMEs can access business grade broadband and support, security, collaboration software tools, email, webspace and roaming wireless access.
