Toshiba has revealed that it is launching a new telephone business application designed specifically for use by small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs).The new Strata CIX40 is aimed at businesses with up to 25 employees and allows firms to operate a single site telephone system or employ it as part of a network with other compatible systems.
It can also be used as an IP telephony device or as a digital system, with the option to migrate to the latest packages as they become available without having to dismantle the system.
Daniel Fuller-Smith, the national sales manager at Toshiba BCD, told Comms Business: "The market for up to 25 users is the most competitive for resellers and has been one of the main areas of growth.
"It’s a great market for resellers; the sales cycle is usually short so they can turn around a large number of sales quickly and profitably."
The new package goes on sale in March.
