New insurance deal for van drivers
Published On 9 February 2007 at 09:20:56
Van drivers who use their vehicle as an integral part of their business will be benefiting from a new insurance deal from the Post Office this week.Small firms across the UK will benefit from the Post Office policy, which is designed for the 1.3 million small and family businesses around the country.
Clare Oldstein, Post Office spokesperson, said: "More than 75 per cent of UK small businesses use the Post Office regularly for posting parcels and banking services.
"We know how important it is for them to keep moving and trading if they have an accident.
"By including free physio treatment for injured drivers and accident assistance, our new van insurance can help get small business back on the road quickly if the worst happens.
What's more, we do all the hard work by shopping around to find the best possible price from a panel of leading providers."
There is also accident assistance, a 24-hour claims helpline and £50 cashback with every new policy taken out.
And given the freezing weather conditions that have hit the UK's roads this week, van drivers will know the importance of having a rigorous insurance policy in place to protect them.
