New technology for e-traders in SME sector
Published On 22 February 2007 at 15:19:22
The first accounts package which promises to deliver "full and automatic integration" for internet-based small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) has been unveiled this week.ENCORE-eBIS Webstore has been created by Anagram Systems and is designed to allow managers to make "rapid response" decisions - as online transactions will automatically update stock and information sales.
The up to the minute data will help managers to quickly re-order their site's best-selling stock, in turn boosting sales.
All E-traders have to do is integrate ENCORE-eBIS with their web product catalogues along with pictures, sizes, descriptions and specifications of their products and leave it to the system to take care of the rest.
Andrew Morgan, head of sales at Anagram, said: "Our in-depth research shows that many online traders need an integrated solution that can automatically update their files as transactions are made.
"It was surprising, that there was no single integrated system available at this end of the market. Now, there is a real alternative designed specifically for their business model."
According to Person Halls, e-commerce was launched in 1994 when the first banner advertisement was placed on a website.
